Romulus of History
He traveled roads of distant lands
And held the past in steadfast hands
A keeper of history’s legends and toils
The good, the bad, the glories and foils
Lines of age so noble and sure
Eyes of sapphire so wise and pure
Secrets abound that hid behind
Wisdom of ages, knowing and kind
A shadow that past through time and space
A collector of lore from place to place
One pony that pulled his treasured cart
Off to where adventure start
A restless spirit ‘neath wide brimmed hat
A simple man that was more than that
An air of mystery to those who’d sight
Romulus of history in age of might
